Audition with John Forte while being caught up in Europa

Audition next week for Coastal Films with John Forte.  Really want to work with this dude!  I remember auditioning for him before and it turned into me doing some on the spot stand up talking about growing up in a Catholic household with my mom saying, "Once a Catholic, always a Catholic."  So should be encouraging to make an appearance esp since I got this audition through Jay Gates texting me.  Love that.  Go technology.  Can I get a text from Spielberg that says, "Yo, Anna, need you to screen test with Leo Cap. U b around?"  Why yes Spielberg I will.

My cat is lying on the floor. What's the most stressful thing in a cat's life?  Not getting food at 5:30 am?  Perhaps. I wonder if my cat realizes he is slowly going to get fatter and fatter in my new (small) one bedroom apartment.  I say this because this place has no stairs only an entertainment center for him to climb up and dig through the fake decorative bush.  Some days I feel like all I do is climb the entertainment center hoping to get to the top.  Then I could overlook the entire world just like my cat does (overlooks the entire small apartment) and say, "I've made it! I can conquer the world!"  I wonder if and when that happens I will have the same reaction my cat does: fall asleep.  Picture attached.

So I got hired at Europa in Richmond.  Italian tapas place.  Should be an interesting endeavor.  The manager is just now getting around to hiring some girls. Being a veteran waitress, this is a good thing because I would rather be the minority than the majority.  Girls are petty and girls fight.  Yes I might be sexist for saying that but still guys are laid back usually in the restaurant world.  You have to be or else the waiting tables game will be very stressful.....like not getting food at 5:30 am!

Lifetime Movie to be shot in Richmond!? Wha?

So my agent is sending me sides soon for this Lifetime movie to be shot in Richmond.  EXCITED!  Just auditioned for another movie to be shot in Richmond and now this! God is just really great.  Fincannon and Associates Casting is doing the casting for this film. As Mark Paladini would say, "Collect your no's"  Been really grateful to collect anything this month! On top of that Jay Gates texted me yesterday asking me to audition for a Coastal shoot with John Forte.  Hoping something bites!

I love how I am sitting in starbucks (free WIFI now!) in KC while my parents are waiting for power to be turned back on in their house after the crazy lightening storm last night and waiting for Mr. B to get in from his delayed flight out of detroit! BOO!  So much is happening and I love it.  I love the possibility of what can and will come with my recent move to Richmond! :))

Teaching at my Alma mater

So I decided to be creative with making money since I am in between jobs right now.  Since I am home in Kansas City for a week I decided to put together an audition workshop at my old high school, Notre Dame de Sion.  It is an all girls Catholic High School.  So its going to bring back some memories to be back at that school again and see the girls wearing their wool skirts and sweater vests, something I dont miss!

I can't wait to work with this age group.  I love teaching and it should be really inspiring!

Writing a New Musical!

Since working with Tony Hale (Arrested Development) a couple of days ago, I was  not only told by him "you have to write this" but I have simply decided my past recent experience must..... has to be written down and performed in a fun creative intelligent way. I have the title and will share soon.

Looking forward to seeing where this new project takes me!
